Terms of Service

Effective September 2, 2026. These terms govern your use of SoundPush.

1. What SoundPush is

SoundPush is a marketplace operating in Nigeria that connects artists (“Artists”) with independent TikTok and Instagram creators (“Creators”) who are paid a fixed, published rate to post original content using an Artist's sound. SoundPush is not a talent agency, record label, or publisher, and does not take ownership of any Artist's music or any Creator's content.

SoundPush pays Creators a guaranteed base amount per approved original video, based on the tier SoundPush verified for them (from the median views of their recent eligible posts) and fixed when they claim the campaign. Some campaigns also offer a capped performance bonus, measured from official platform data where available. SoundPush does not guarantee views, likes, comments, shares, or any other engagement metric, and does not sell or facilitate the purchase of followers, views, or engagement of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Nigerian law to use SoundPush. Creators must control a public TikTok or Instagram account that passes SoundPush's manual verification before it can be used to claim campaigns.

Follower counts and account ownership are self-reported by Creators at onboarding and confirmed by SoundPush staff during verification. Providing false information about your identity, follower count, or account ownership is a violation of these terms and grounds for immediate suspension.

3. Campaigns and payment (Artists)

When an Artist creates a campaign, the total campaign cost (creator count × the published rate for the selected tier) is calculated up front and collected via Paystack before the campaign is submitted for approval. Rates are locked at the time a campaign is created; later changes to SoundPush's published rates do not apply retroactively to campaigns already paid for.

Every campaign is reviewed by SoundPush before it goes live. SoundPush may reject a campaign that violates these terms, is misleading, or requests content SoundPush cannot verify or support; a rejected campaign's reason is provided to the Artist, and refund handling for a rejected or cancelled campaign is assessed case by case, since SoundPush does not currently operate a fully automated refund system.

4. Content and submissions (Creators)

When a Creator claims a slot on a campaign, they agree to post original content using the Artist's sound, matching that campaign's stated requirements (platform, action type, clip length, and any creative direction provided), and to submit a working link to that post through SoundPush for review.

SoundPush staff manually review every submission. A submission may be approved, rejected with a stated reason, or — for a first rejection only — made eligible for a single resubmission within a limited window. Content that does not genuinely use the campaign's sound, that is not the Creator's own original work, or that violates TikTok's or Instagram's own policies will not be approved.

Creators are solely responsible for complying with the advertising-disclosure and branded-content rules of any platform they post to, and for any other legal obligation their content creates for them personally. SoundPush does not review content for compliance with laws or platform rules beyond confirming it meets the campaign's own stated requirements.

5. Payment to Creators

An approved submission enters a 5-day hold before payout eligibility, during which SoundPush reconfirms the post is still live. Eligible payouts are batched and processed weekly, on Fridays, to the bank account a Creator has provided. Payouts are fixed per the Creator's verified tier at the time of approval — SoundPush does not adjust payment based on how a video performs after it is posted.

Creator payouts are made via Paystack's transfer infrastructure. Until Paystack has approved SoundPush for business transfer access, payouts that reach eligibility are tracked and queued but may not be immediately disbursed; SoundPush will communicate any material delay to affected Creators.

6. Account suspension and termination

SoundPush may suspend or terminate an account that provides false verification information, repeatedly submits content that doesn't meet campaign requirements, attempts to manipulate follower counts, engagement, or the review process, or otherwise violates these terms. Where reasonably possible, SoundPush will state the reason for a suspension.

7. Limitation of liability

SoundPush provides its marketplace “as is.” SoundPush is not responsible for changes TikTok, Instagram, or Paystack make to their own platforms, policies, or availability, and does not guarantee any particular commercial outcome from a campaign.

8. Changes to these terms

SoundPush may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continuing to use SoundPush after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
